Picking out a brand new book encourages children to read
My Own Book was featured on the front page of the Fairfield, CA "DailyRepublic" on 9/29/06. My Own Book was also featured in the "Vacaville Reporter" on 10/2/06 and on 10/31/06. My Own Book founders, Kyle and Brady Baldwin, have been interviewed on the podcast "Just One More Book" and also for the radio station KUIC. On 7/6/08 My Own Book was featured as the cover story in American Profile.
A grant from Youth Venture was the initial step in getting us organized, making plans for the future, and having initial funding to start My Own Book.
